Who Am I?

A little introduction to me ;)

About Me

My name is Eryk, I was born in Łódź, Poland where I’ve spent pretty much my entire life (up to this point). I’m bilingual, fluent in both Polish and English (planning to learn another language in the future - likely Korean or Chinese).

Technology has been a huge part of my life over the past years. IT was part of my journey since middle school and quickly became my lifelong passion. I graduated from a Technical School (ZSP 2) in Koluszki specializing in telecommunications (ICT) and IT, where I earned the (EE.11 and EE.10) EU certifications. Currently, I’m in my third year of Computer Science studies at Stefan Batory University of Applied Sciences (Akademia Nauk Stosowanych Stefana Batorego) in Skierniewice.

What I Do

I’m deeply involved in everything under the tech umbrella - from software development to hands-on hardware projects. My interests span across gaming, virtual reality, electronics, personal computers, networking, 3D printing, game development, software, 3D modeling, content creation and much more.

Networking & Systems

From configuring home labs to understanding complex network architectures, I enjoy working with both the software and infrastructure sides of IT. Over the years I’ve had the chance to work on a large LAN for my Technical School and built a few networks for small sized businesses.

Electronics & Hardware

I work with microcontrollers, modify and fix electronics, build and repair computers, and design custom solutions for various projects. Whether it’s debugging a circuit or assembling a high-performance PC, I enjoy playing with hardware and actually building things.

3D Printing & Modeling

I use CAD (Autodesk Fusion, a bit of OpenSCAD) software, Blender and (freshly) ZBrush for 3D modeling, testing designs / concepts and bringing my ideas to life with FDM 3D printing (planning to get in to SLA soon too). This skillset comes in handy for prototyping and testing all sorts of things in my interest arsenal - VR accessories, custom cases, bespoke parts, and a ton of other things for my various projects.

I’ve found success on MakerWorld , where my 3D models have gained significant traction - achieving over 1.1 million impressions, 28.6k views, and 1.1k downloads (as of 09/02/2026). It’s been incredibly rewarding to see people around the world using and appreciating my designs.

Fun fact: I also took part in Andrew Price’s - 17,731 Firt Steps NFT project - ya know, the iconic Blender tutorial that started countless Blender journeys. My rendition is immortalized right here ;) as part of the collection!

Virtual Reality & Research

I have a particular passion for VR and mixed reality. I own a fully fledged FBT (full body tracking) setup and have been extensively modifying my Quest 3 headset - adding DIY full face tracking among other improvements / mods. In fact it’s even the topic of my final University project! I’m currently in the process of developing a DIY low-cost finger tracking solution for VR / MR applications, combining my love for practical engineering with research.

Game Development

I’ve had a bit of experience with Unity from working on VRChat avatars and some smaller personal projects, but recently I’ve also developed my first game for one of my University classes called Radiorum . Right now I’m working on a horror game passion project for the ZGTK contest in a two person team with my bud.

Teaching & Tutoring

I have experience providing computer science tutoring, having helped over 30 students at various levels - from basic programming concepts to more advanced topics (including preparing for exams, coursework, homework and so on).

I’m fluent in English, which is obviously essential in today’s IT world. I communicate daily with my friends and other people from around the globe and have no trouble reading the latest technical documentation or research papers. In teaching, I value a calm and patient approach. I believe anyone can learn to program - all you need is:

  • A computer
  • Internet access
  • A bit of determination
  • And the right teacher ;)

Technical Experience

Over the last decade, I’ve been working on various projects - personal, open source (GitHub), and commercial. My experience spans multiple programming paradigms, from imperative and object-oriented to functional and event-driven.

I’ve built:

  • Mobile applications
  • Websites (both frontend and backend)
  • Scripts and automation tools
  • And much more!

Languages & Tools I’ve worked with (not exhaustive):

  • Assembly (mainly 8086 but also some reverse engineering)
  • C / C++ / C#
  • Java
  • Python
  • JavaScript
  • PHP
  • MySQL
  • Pascal
  • Swift
  • Kotlin
  • Bash / POSIX
  • Git
  • Various Linux distros
  • MacOS
  • Windows
  • Android
  • iOS

Achievements

My passion for learning, hard work, high standards and determination have earned me:

  • Academic scholarships throughout all years of Technical School and University
  • A grant through the “Professionals in Łódź Region” program, aimed at the most talented Technical School students

I share my projects on Instagram and other platforms , and I’m currently planning to launch an engineering YouTube channel where I’ll showcase all of my upcoming personal projects, builds, experiments and so on!
